Following on from the teams success over Owen Shaw, they all went their seperate ways living their (mostly) happy lives. That is, until Owen older, bigger, badder brother decides he doesn’t approve of what the team has done with his brother.

First up, he takes out Hobbs, putting him down hard, and leaving him in hospital. Then through a call from Japan he threatens Dom and his extended family and detonates a bomb destroying his house and scaring Mia, Bryan and their kid.

Then enters two opposing forces who are after the exceptional hacker Ramsey who has built a program called the “God’s Eye” which can see anyone anywhere anytime. We have “Mr Nobody” a shady government official, and Jakarde, a Somalian terrorist who has managed to get his hands on Ramsey. Now Mr Nobody wants Dom and his team to get both Ramsey and the God’s Eye back. In return he’ll give him Shaw.

This is a F&F movie, so as you can imagine cars get destroyed, city parking lots get destroyed, even an attack chopper gets destroyed. It has got all the usual street car action but this time throws in some of the ol’ “girl on girl” action into the mix. While some of you may be disappointed that it isn’t a different sort of “girl on girl” it’s Michelle Rodriguez taking on Rondy Rousey in some good ol’ fisticuffs.

The franchise still heavily rely on the vehicular action to carry it off as the story line between a series of overly “brutish” characters is stretched. What I do find interesting is that the is a F&F 9 and F&F 10 already on IMDB.

What I do like though it the final scene, a final send off for Paul. A very simple, touching moment of reminiscing of the time that Paul (as the character Bryan) spent in the series.
