Shaun is on the run from Doctor Glassman and has gone on a road trip with neighbour Leah who is teaching him more about “mature” life than he has had an opportunity to before. His first drive, his first burnout, his first “crash”, his first kiss.
Meanwhile Meledez and Browne perform a magic trip by cutting a woman in half (well sort of).
I enthusiastically enjoyed the first season and have been waiting for this new season to begin since the last episode. Freddie Highmore plays Shaun in such a natural and realistic way without abusing the nature of the character or making it the blatantly about the disability that a lot of people assume it is all about.
He is just a man trying to live his struggling life, in his way.
