The Nut Job – 2014

IMDB: Title/Episode – Year

IMDB Rating: 5.7/10

Rotten Tomatoes: 11%

There is no way that I can sum up this movie better than IMDB’s blurb: “An incorrigibly self-serving exiled squirrel finds himself helping his former park brethren survive by raiding a nut store, a location that also happens to be a front for a human gang’s bank robbery.”

Surly (the aforementioned incorrigibly self serving exiled squirrel) is exactly that, accompanied only by his only friend a rat. Once he gets exiled for his part in burning down the winter food storage for the park animals, he embarks on a humorous journey catching rides on pigeons, stealing dog whistles, and making nice with an overly friendly pug who belongs to the bank robbers.

It is a good family friendly movie with just great laughs.
