Hackers – 1995

IMDB: Hackers – 1995

IMDB Rating: 6.2/10

Rotten Tomatoes: 32%

I’ve seen this a number of times and still enjoy it, almost as much as the first time that I watched it.

The joviality and immaturity that is shown by the group of friends in this movie is very true amongst real friends, as they struggle against “the man” to be given a fair go.

The idea still holds very true even to this day, that a lot of crime (not just cyber crime) is often possible due to the assistance of an internal source. Sadly the handles they use still haven’t improved much though.

*Edit: I forgot what a gloriously borderline punk rock soundtrack this movie has.
